IxDD Newcastle: Ethical user-centred design

World Interaction Design Day is an annual event where organisations and individuals come together as a united global community to show how interaction design improves the human condition.

Join us at Orange Bus HQ on the evening of 24th September where we'll be taking inspiration from Star Wars to explore the theme for 2019: Trust and Responsibility.

Participants will be invited to design an app, product or website to meet a specific challenge. Each team will be given a scenario to design for, with the added requirement of designing for the 'dark side' or the 'light side' of the UX force. And yes, there will be a prize for the winning team!

This event is perfect for anyone currently working in the interaction space or for those who want to learn more about the field.

Pizza and drinks will be provided 🍕🥤

Current timings:

Arrival and refreshments: 5:45-6:00

Intro: 6:00 - 6:10

Design activity in groups: 6:10 - 7:10

Present ideas: 7:10 - 7:30

Wrap up and prize: 7:30 - 8:00
