World Interaction Design Day Pittsburgh 2019

Hosted by IxDA Pittsburgh

From Uber Self-Driving Division, to IBM Watson, to Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh is a hotbed for artificial intelligence.

Our "Abusability Testing Workshop" will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Participants will imagine Black Mirror-esque scenarios related to potential abuse of otherwise exciting and useful applications of Artificial Intelligence technologies and then work on de-abusing them. The workshop will be followed by hors d'oeuvres, and at 6:30, David Danks, L.L. Thurstone Professor of Philosophy & Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University, will give his talk: Achieving Responsible & Trusted AI.
