The Ultimate - Remote Student In Tech - Guide

College students have had a rough-going since the pandemic. Some of us interacted with our college campus as freshmen, and have come back in-person two years later, as seniors. The way we navigate the interaction design student life has change after accepting WFH as the new norm.

During this time, I have been a remote student and navigated different remote tech internships. Through this 30 minute interactive workshop and Q & A, I will share my learnings from UX-ing an interaction design portfolio to making the most of remote interaction design internships.

We will go over questions such as what are the perks of being a remote design intern? What are things you can't do in-person but can actually do when remote? How may we navigate a coffee chat that has no real coffee and only two tiny zoom boxes?

Together we will overcome imposter syndrome, and walk away with a better understanding of taking advantage of being a remote student in tech.
