Transformations in Industrial Design: Human-Centred Automation in Control Rooms
Hosted by BSD design
The seminar wants to discuss the future of industrial design and human-centred automation. Our projects on numerical control machines and control rooms aim at providing operators with usable, sustainable and 'right' HMI.
The event will address industrial systems complexity and how the industrial design is going to reduce users' operational and cognitive workload and give emphasis to users' monitoring and control (look and act).
The HMI design concept offered the opportunity to develop innovative representations of plant status, processes monitoring, and navigation strategy as well as a consistent, meaningful, and pervasive approach to industrial alarms and alerts management.
